what does it mean to be asian american?

yellow is a communication design project that invites the participation of the asian american community to voice and share their experiences. yellow attempts to answer the question of “what can we do for democracy?” by giving an outlet for creative expression to asian americans. yellow provides a stark contrast to the dry statistical facts that are presented in the asian population census: 2000.
